Specialising in premium pet foods and accessories, Absolute Pets is the leading pet retailer in South Africa with over 170 stores across the country. We are looking for a passionate and driven Warehouse Outbound Team Leader to join our team at the Gauteng Warehouse in Kempton Park.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Assistant Warehouse Manager in overseeing outbound functions including picking, packing, quality checks, distribution, and fleet management.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management.
- Ensure outbound performance metrics are met and drive team accountability to achieve these targets.
- Minimize short picks and maintain accuracy in order fulfilment.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Manage IBT (Inter-Branch Transfers) and ensure compliance with SLA guidelines.
- Lead and mentor the outbound team, fostering productivity and discipline.
- Maintain organized stock and storage areas for efficient operations.
- Meet set outbound deadlines and productivity goals.
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations and warehouse policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiency.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Assistant Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Manager.
