About the Role
WeBuyCars is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead a high-performing sales team at our Pretoria branch. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, delivering outstanding customer service, mentoring your team, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
This role is ideal for a motivated leader with a passion for cars, a talent for people management, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Sales Executives to exceed unit sales and finance targets.
- Oversee daily floor operations, including vehicle presentation, pricing, and customer experience.
- Ensure efficient lead allocation, prompt customer engagement, and high conversion rates.
- Monitor reserved and aged stock, manage reconditioning processes, and uphold brand standards.
- Conduct daily and weekly sales meetings, providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Deliver training and mentoring to enhance team skills and performance.
- Drive sales of auxiliary products and alternative payment solutions (e.g., Netstar, OUTsurance, WalletDoc).
- Resolve escalated customer complaints to maintain satisfaction and brand reputation.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate (essential).
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is advantageous.
- Minimum 2 years of sales management or team leadership experience, preferably in motor retail or a fast-paced sales environment.
- Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience in a high-volume setting.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
