The OMF Branch Manager leads a small to medium-sized team of advisors to develop, maintain, and leverage relationships with prospective and existing clients to drive demand for financial products and services.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction
Communicate the local action plan, aligning it with the function’s strategy and organizational mission. Motivate the team to achieve business goals.
Customer Relationship Management / Account Management
Develop and execute a relationship management plan for existing customer accounts, identifying key decision-makers and fostering strong two-way communication. Gather customer feedback to ensure needs are met and recommend improvements.
Sell Customer Propositions
Leverage expertise to identify and present suitable financial products, addressing customer needs with clear rationale and standard commercial terms. Engage senior colleagues for approvals where necessary.
Sales Opportunities Creation
Prospect potential customers through referrals, recommendations, and participation in industry events.
Performance Management
Monitor and enhance team performance by setting objectives, reviewing progress, and taking corrective actions. Contribute to formal performance evaluations.
Operations Management
Provide operational support and supervise transactional processes using established systems.
Promoting Customer Focus
Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen external customer relationships and meet client expectations through effective communication strategies.
Key Account Management
Deliver specialized support for new and existing accounts, resolving complex inquiries while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Customer Relationship Development / Prospecting
Implement a contact plan to engage potential customers in sales campaigns, acting as the first point of contact for queries and complaints.
Budgeting
Track budgets and report variances to senior leadership.
Organizational Capability Building
Coach team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
