Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop both manual and automated test cases in compliance with established standards.

  • Provide insights and feedback to improve and refine quality assurance processes.

  • Conduct in-depth problem-solving and root cause analysis to address defects effectively.

  • Track defects from discovery through resolution, ensuring prompt closure.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA department.

  • Stay current with emerging testing tools and technologies, evaluating their applicability for the team.

  • Apply quality testing principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.

  • Develop and maintain robust testing frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

  • Present demos of testing strategies and results to stakeholders and team members.

  • Work independently without supervision, demonstrating strong ownership of tasks.

  • Coach and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on complex projects.

  • Provide accurate time estimates for work and deliverables.

  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, collaborating with software and systems teams for application testing, including system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing.

  • Effectively manage relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in a testing or similar role.

  • ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Qualification.

  • Experience in project management and QA methodology.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in manual testing.

  • Solid understanding of the SDLC and how QA integrates into the process.

  • Experience with industry-standard test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence, DevOps).

  • Experience in API or mobile device testing.

  • Basic knowledge of IT and SQL.

  • Familiarity with QA and bug testing tools and testing methodologies.

  • Experience with test management software.

  • Basic skills in test case scripting.

  • Understanding of test automation frameworks and their application.

  • Basic knowledge of SQL queries and data analysis.
