Job Summary
As the Premises Risk Assurance Manager, you will report to the Head of OHS and CRES Risk and oversee the Premises Risk Management framework across all functional areas within CRES. Your role ensures integrated risk management, control effectiveness, and alignment with the ERMF and ORRMF, while leading the function’s primary risks.
Key Accountabilities
Risk Management & ORRMF Implementation
- Guide and oversee the implementation of Group Risk policies, ERMF, and ORRMF, including:
- Risk Appetite
- Risk & Issues Classification
- Risk Event Management
- Risk & Control Self-Assessment
- Issues & Actions Management
- Combined Assurance
- Risk Indicators & Metrics
- Scenario Analysis & Capital Assessment
- Lessons Learnt & Root Cause Analysis
- Risk Technologies & Control Assessment
- Ensure frameworks and standards are effectively applied, performing quality assurance and support.
Risk Measurement & Capital Management
- Drive Scenario Analysis and Capital Assessment for Group Premises Risk.
- Monitor and assess Operational Risk capital adequacy.
Risk Monitoring & Combined Assurance
- Support business units in creating and maintaining assurance plans for Premises Risk.
- Embed combined assurance processes with stakeholders (Internal Audit, 1st & 2nd Line teams).
- Oversee execution of assurance plans, ensuring risk-based and timely completion.
- Conduct independent risk-based reviews to validate CRES policy adherence and risk profile integrity.
Evaluation & Emerging Risk Leadership
- Assess embedment of Premises Risk frameworks and update as needed.
- Evaluate risk indicators and key risk assessments for accuracy and relevance.
- Lead emerging risk identification, horizon scanning, and thought leadership.
- Oversee post-incident reviews, remediation tracking, and risk event reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop engagement models for efficient Premises Risk coordination.
- Collaborate with Group and Functional teams to implement Risk & Resilience requirements.
- Provide training and awareness on risk management practices.
- Challenge and advise on risk profiles, controls, and remediation progress.
Reporting & Compliance
- Validate risk data and draft reports for governance forums.
- Provide independent insights and analytics for senior management.
- Ensure adherence to RDARR (Risk Data Aggregation & Reporting) standards.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support CRES projects by assessing risks, monitoring mitigation plans, and tracking actions.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies.
