Value is seeking a highly experienced and versatile Senior Graphic Designer to lead the development and execution of creative assets across digital and print platforms. This role is essential in delivering visually compelling work that supports brand strategy, marketing campaigns, internal communications, and broader business goals.
As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for designing a wide range of materials, including digital content like presentations, social media assets, motion graphics, and website components, as well as print collateral such as editorial layouts, campaign materials, signage, and branded environments. You will ensure every design upholds the company’s brand standards and communicates effectively with intended audiences.
This position requires both strategic oversight and hands-on execution. A deep understanding of visual storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are key.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution

Lead the end-to-end design process, from brief to delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met

Coordinate with internal teams to align creative outputs with business needs

Manage external vendors to ensure brand fidelity in production

Conduct reviews and refine creative assets for consistency and impact

Track project outcomes and identify areas for continuous improvement
Brand & Visual Identity Oversight

Enforce brand guidelines and ensure consistent application across all touchpoints

Develop and maintain brand toolkits, design systems, and internal usage guides

Audit and refresh existing brand materials to align with evolving standards

Conceptualise branded environments for events and physical activations

Provide creative leadership and mentorship within the marketing team
Production & Technical Execution

Prepare final artwork for multiple formats, ensuring technical accuracy

Liaise with printers and production partners to ensure quality control
-
Guide decisions on materials, finishes, and formats based on budget and objectives

Maintain asset libraries and documentation for internal team access
Digital & UX/UI Design (advantageous)

Design user interfaces for web and digital platforms

Audit existing platforms and recommend design enhancements

Collaborate with developers and content teams to ensure functional and visually aligned digital outputs
Minimum Requirements

Matric (Grade 12)
-
Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent

Minimum 7 years of experience in a creative agency or corporate environment
Core Skills

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)

Competent in Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong layout, typography, and visual hierarchy skills

Excellent understanding of branding, design principles, and production processes
Additional Skills (Beneficial)
