What You Will Do
As a Financial Planner, you will deliver expert financial advice and tailored solutions to clients, helping them achieve their financial goals. Your role involves:

Growing the Sanlam Adviser Business
- Drive sales and business growth by implementing targeted marketing strategies.
- Apply market segmentation insights to attract and retain clients.
- Achieve revenue targets (single and recurring premiums) while promoting the Sanlam brand.

Networking & Prospecting
- Generate leads through face-to-face interactions, social media, and business networks.
- Strengthen client relationships and identify sales opportunities.
- Conduct client-focused campaigns and analyze market gaps for new business.

Client Consultations & Sales
- Perform compliant financial needs assessments using digital tools.
- Develop and present personalized financial plans aligned with clients’ goals.
- Maintain accurate client records and review portfolios annually.

Client Service Excellence
- Deliver professional, ethical, and value-driven service to retain clients.
- Resolve queries promptly and stay updated on industry trends.

Reporting & Monitoring
- Track client interactions, issued business, and revenue performance.
- Maintain workflow systems and update client details regularly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 certification.
- FAIS “Fit and Proper” certification (completed Regulatory Exam if registered with FSCA for over 24 months).
Knowledge & Skills
- Financial advisory compliance and risk management.
- Client relationship and financial planning expertise.
- Sales target achievement and budget management.
