About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage full-function bookkeeping and financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-function bookkeeping
- Process tax invoices for suppliers and customers
- Reconcile cashbooks and bank statements
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts
- Handle payroll processing
- SARS E-Filing, including EMP201 & EMP501 submissions
- VAT reconciliation, returns, and support with SARS VAT reviews
- Process journals up to final trial balance
Required Skills:
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Time management and organizational skills
- Financial reporting expertise
- Proficiency in accounting software (Pastel)
- Knowledge of Annual Financial Statements
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Fully bilingual in English & Afrikaans
Candidate Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate; relevant tertiary education preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Bookkeeper
- Contactable professional references
- No criminal record (background checks will be conducted)
