Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Stewardship – Oversee the general ledger, prepare management accounts, and ensure precise financial reporting
- Group Consolidations & Currency Expertise – Manage consolidation processes and handle intricate foreign currency transactions
- Asset & Payables Oversight – Administer fixed asset accounting and supervise accounts payable activities
- Treasury & Risk Management – Optimize working capital by managing cash flow, banking relationships, and insurance portfolios
- Strategic Financial Planning – Develop budgets, forecasts, and ensure timely completion of audits
- Leadership & Influence – Provide strategic guidance, lead a team effectively, and drive continuous process improvements
Education & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (SA) qualification
- Minimum 5 years post-articles experience, including 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and internal control frameworks
