Client Liaison Officer – Value Logistics
Purpose of the Job
The Client Liaison Officer plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service by managing collection requests, resolving queries promptly, and ensuring seamless communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relations
- Receive, action, and resolve customer queries within 45 minutes while ensuring timely closure of collections.
- Verify and maintain accurate details on all collection requests.
- Escalate unaccepted quotes to the Sales team for follow-up.
- Address and resolve subcontractor and agent inquiries efficiently.
- Handle telephonic collection requests professionally.
- Stay informed about operational challenges and proactively update customers.
Reporting
- Identify and compile essential statistics to support branch management.
- Develop efficient methods for extracting and analyzing statistical data.
- Maintain up-to-date statistics and generate accurate reports.
- Analyze monthly reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Notify the Sales department of reduced or discontinued usage by regular clients.
Communication
- Foster positive interdepartmental communication to enhance workflow.
- Coordinate with customers and Value Express to facilitate collections, deliveries, and quote requests.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure customer requests are executed promptly.
- Communicate with managers regarding accounts placed on credit hold.
Administration
- Ensure all daily reports are completed and actioned.
- Reconcile billing paperwork and submit it to the operations team.
- Process email and telephonic quote requests within 45 minutes.
- Handle claim-related queries, compile claim packs, and submit them to the Administration Manager.
Adhoc
- Support operational functions as required to maintain efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer relationship management abilities.
- Proficiency in statistical and numerical analysis.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
