About the Role

Pep Vacancies is looking for a motivated Store Manager to oversee store operations and drive strong sales performance while ensuring exceptional customer service. The role focuses on maintaining high store standards, managing stock effectively, and leading a dedicated team to deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Increase sales by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining world-class store standards.
• Ensure the store image is consistently maintained, including merchandising, stock presentation, and promotional implementation.
• Minimise stock losses by promoting a positive store culture and strictly following security, stock control, and cash handling procedures.
• Manage operational costs by supporting the company’s low-cost culture and improving store efficiencies.
• Ensure all store administrative duties are completed in line with company guidelines and procedures.
• Lead and develop a dynamic team by providing training, coaching, and performance management.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping within the store environment.

Requirements

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Proficiency in English.
• A diploma or degree in a business or retail-related field will be advantageous.
• 1–2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a leadership role.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, will be an advantage.
