As a Tax Compliance Senior Associate 2, you will ensure clients meet tax obligations while mitigating compliance risks. You’ll review financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and analyze regulatory requirements to deliver quality service.

Main Purpose
Deliver expert Income Tax and VAT compliance services, with potential involvement in payroll administration and tax advisory.
Key Performance Areas
- Provide tax consulting services in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
- Manage tax assignments under the guidance of managers and directors.
- Conduct IT and VAT reviews to support statutory audits.
- Perform research and interpret tax legislation.
- Engage with tax authorities (e.g., SARS) to resolve queries.
- Implement PwC methodologies to ensure service quality.
- Identify business opportunities and mitigate compliance risks.
- Oversee client billing and project administration.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience:
- Completed a training Contract or equivalent practical experience.
Competencies:
- Passion for tax and regulatory compliance.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Research proficiency and analytical problem-solving.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Bilingual (Afrikaans & English) or English fluency.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of independent work.
