We are seeking a dedicated Short Term Advisor: Sakhumzi MOB to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for providing financial advice and insurance solutions tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow the Sanlam Adviser Business in alignment with marketing plans and targets
  • Apply knowledge of market segmentation to drive sales and business growth
  • Engage in revenue generation through single and recurring premiums
  • Maintain a commitment to treating customers fairly

Networking, Prospecting, and Lead Generation:

  • Establish business opportunities through face-to-face interactions, social and business networks
  • Convert trusted relationships into business relationships
  • Strengthen existing relationships and enhance service offerings
  • Utilize existing sources to generate leads across Sanlam businesses
  • Conduct focused marketing campaigns and client engagement activities

Client Consultations and Sales:

  • Ensure compliance in all client interactions, including disclosures and advice
  • Conduct financial needs analyses to assess client requirements
  • Provide sound financial planning advice and solutions
  • Present professional and well-structured financial plans
  • Maintain accurate records and update client information regularly

Client Service:

  • Deliver ethical, courteous, and professional client interactions
  • Resolve client queries efficiently and strive for excellent service
  • Stay updated with industry trends and knowledge to enhance client service
  • Foster long-term client relationships with a focus on retention

Monitoring, Updates, and Reporting:

  • Document client interactions, appointments, and consultations
  • Track issued business and revenue against targets
  • Maintain accurate client records and workflow entries

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12 qualification
  • Compliance with FAIS “Fit and Proper” requirements
  • Successful completion of Regulatory Examination if registered with FSCA for more than 24 months

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expertise in financial advice and support
  • Target achievement and budgeting proficiency
  • Compliance and risk management experience
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Financial planning and recommendation capabilities
