Senior IS Auditor – BDO
As a Senior IS Auditor at BDO, you will report to the IS Audit Manager and play a critical role in delivering high-quality audit engagements. You will oversee assigned audit sections, maintain compliance with firm policies, and uphold professional integrity. Your responsibilities include efficient documentation, risk assessment, and clear communication with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute audit engagements as assigned by the Senior Manager or Director.
- Maintain secure storage and confidentiality of audit files and working papers.
- Ensure working papers are clear, concise, and well-documented.
- Conduct self-reviews of audit documentation prior to submission.
- Provide constructive feedback during audit debriefs and escalate issues promptly.
- Adhere to methodology standards through continuous review of audit work.
- Gather sufficient, relevant, and reliable audit evidence for review.
- Ensure compliance with documentation templates and sign-off procedures.
- Handle sensitive client and firm information with discretion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience leading IS audits from planning to reporting, with strong self-review skills.
- Ability to assist in preparing client deliverables.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Internal/IT/External Audit.
