About the Role
You will collaborate with senior executives to develop precision financial models, evaluate acquisition and divestment opportunities, and refine the company’s capital strategy to enhance shareholder value. Your expertise will be critical in due diligence, post-merger integration, and high-stakes decision-making.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement advanced financial models for valuation, risk assessment, and strategic planning
- Advise on M&A transactions, divestments, and financial due diligence
- Partner with leadership to optimize capital allocation and working capital efficiency
- Conduct business valuations and manage due diligence with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee post-merger integration to achieve seamless transitions and alignment with strategic objectives
- Shape hedging strategies, refine treasury policies, and establish corporate finance best practices
- Analyze industry competitors and generate strategic reports for leadership and investors
What You Bring
- CA(SA) or CFA qualification (non-negotiable)
- 5-7 years of corporate finance experience, with proven expertise in M&A
- Mastery of financial analysis metrics (ROI, NPV, IRR, DCF)
- Background in the insurance sector (preferred)
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and executive presentation skills
- Ability to navigate complexity, perform under pressure, and drive data-led decision-making
