Purpose of the Job

The Sales Representative is responsible for developing and expanding sales across a diverse customer base. This role focuses on new business development, account management, and revenue growth while delivering customised solutions that meet client needs across multiple market sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new customer opportunities across targeted sectors
  • Build, manage, and grow existing customer relationships to drive repeat business
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and performance KPIs
  • Manage customer credit accounts, payment terms, and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Present, promote, and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
  • Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and confidently overcome objections
  • Track and report on customer feedback, competitor activity, and pricing trends
  • Execute sales strategies aligned with broader marketing and business initiatives
  • Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Follow assigned daily route plans and complete customer visits in line with schedules

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant sales experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
