Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Manager to provide exceptional service and uphold Pick n Pay’s values within the community. This role involves managing customer interactions, ensuring high service standards, and maintaining effective communication.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12
- 12-18 months of face-to-face customer service experience
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office)

- Strong ability to read and interpret reports

- Excellent communication skills
- Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Provide outstanding customer service and handle both informal and formal feedback
- Maintain and update the Customer Complaint Chart
- Conduct store audits to ensure service standards are met
Store Standards:
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Uphold and enforce store standards and practices
Communication:
- Facilitate clear and effective communication both informally and formally
- Manage and address customer feedback
Training:
- Oversee and support staff training initiatives
- Ensure adherence to training and development plans
Social Responsibility:
- Engage with the community and handle informal and formal feedback
- Collaborate with local newspapers for community outreach
Administration:
- Manage administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects
- Develop and execute project plans
Leading Self:
- Manage personal performance and development
- Adhere to the Individual Performance Agreement (IPA) and Personal Development Plan (PDP)
