Job Description
The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving integrated marketing strategies that strengthen brand presence, support business objectives, and enhance customer engagement across all channels.
Key Responsibilities

Execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with organisational goals and commercial objectives.

Analyse market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify trends, opportunities, and points of differentiation.

Lead innovation initiatives by adopting new marketing technologies and advancing digital transformation within the marketing function.

Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry regulations, advertising standards, and data privacy legislation.

Plan, implement, and optimise marketing campaigns across digital, social media, public relations, and traditional platforms.

Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance, KPIs, and ROI, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.

Manage PR and media strategies, maintaining strong relationships with local media and key partners.

Act as a backup media spokesperson, handling interviews and media queries when required.

Define and maintain strategic brand positioning and messaging to ensure ongoing relevance with target audiences.

Maintain emergency communication and crisis management plans to ensure organisational readiness.

Protect and strengthen brand integrity by ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints.

Manage and optimise marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and value generation.

Track budget utilisation and report progress against strategic and operational objectives.

Prepare executive-level presentations and reports to support leadership decision-making.

Manage external agencies, including briefing, performance management, and budget negotiations.

Build and manage strategic partnerships and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and reach.

Collaborate with internal teams including Business Development, Customer Service, Operations, and IT to align marketing initiatives with broader business priorities.

Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, ensuring clear direction and accountability.

Handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
Job Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential).

Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Essential).

Minimum of 10 years’ marketing experience within a mid-sized organisation, including at least 3 years in a managerial role (Essential).

Willingness to work outside of standard business hours when required.
