The L&D Programme Coordinator at Mr Price Group is responsible for the coordination, logistics, and administration of business needs within the Skills Development portfolio. This role ensures efficient programme delivery through collaboration and stakeholder engagement, supporting the Program Manager in achieving strategic and operational learning objectives.
Responsibilities
Administration and Coordination
- Provide administrative, logistical, and operational support for assigned projects and programmes, including learnerships and bursaries.
- Maintain and align the Skills Development training calendar with business needs.
- Assist with vendor and supplier onboarding.
- Collect and organize information for Training Committee meetings.
- Support Pivotal grant applications.
- Upload, update, and maintain learner records on the LMS and HR systems.
- Schedule meetings and training sessions.
Project Delivery and Support
- Manage learner intakes and ensure smooth programme execution.
- Coordinate learner administration, inductions, and check-ins.
- Develop marketing and communication materials, such as feedback reports, emailers, and videos.
- Address Skills Development queries in the absence of the Skills Development Manager.
- Plan and coordinate events, including graduations and skills development workshops.
Financial Administration
- Verify and process payments to ensure timely supplier settlements.
- Generate reports to track payments and invoices.
- Assist in planning and monitoring the Skills Development budget.
- Track and administer skills levies for South Africa and international operations, flagging inconsistencies as needed.
Reporting and Research
- Conduct research to support the delivery of learning solutions.
- Compile and prepare reports for approval and compliance submissions.
- Gather and distribute learner statistics and assessment feedback.
- Provide monthly learnership reports to relevant divisions.
- Collect data for board, half-year, and annual reports.
- Analyze scheduled and unscheduled survey results.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the learning experience.
- Act as a point of contact for vendor, stakeholder, and delegate queries.
- Assist in stakeholder engagements, including presentations for the Skills Development Manager and Group Head of Learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent three-year qualification.
- More than three years of experience in a similar role.
