Role Purpose

The Investment Distribution Support Administrator provides efficient and accurate administrative support to ensure the branch delivers a professional service to Financial Advisers and stakeholders within agreed Service Level Agreements and compliance requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Degree (NQF 7) or Business-related qualification

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of office administration experience in financial services
  • Experience in the MDS Sales environment is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Afrikaans and English (written and verbal)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Windows, etc.)

Duties & Responsibilities

Internal Processes: Sales and Service Experience

  • Understand and manage end-to-end processes and system capabilities across product lines
  • Optimize business processes and challenge inefficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal processes
  • Facilitate and track quotes, ensuring professional presentation and supporting documentation
  • Oversee the end-to-end new business application process with minimal reprocessing
  • Engage proactively with Financial Advisers to smooth application processing
  • Maintain accurate records and updates on Activity Manager
  • Log and monitor activities, including quotes and adviser engagements
  • Use systems to track progress and ensure documentation accuracy
  • Manage pipelines to drive business submission and completion
  • Provide regular updates to Business Consultants on quotes, pipelines, and sales support
  • Prepare reports for consultant engagements and marketing calls
  • Understand and utilize reports (Power BI, lapse reports, reinstatement reports, etc.)
  • Train Financial Adviser staff on digital tools (Power BI, Campaign Master, etc.)
  • Support national branches as needed to ensure business continuity
  • Identify and report system or process improvements

  • Recommend service improvements to enhance client experience
