About the Program
Pepkor Vacancies is seeking a strategic, commercially minded, and execution-driven Go-to-Market Lead to scale the Vouchers business. This senior leadership role focuses on defining strategy, driving commercialisation, and delivering impact across all Flash channels including Flash Trader, the 1Voucher app, banks, fintechs, retailers, and wholesalers.
Job Description
The Go-to-Market Lead (Closed Loop Vouchers) is responsible for the end-to-end management of Flash’s voucher portfolio. You will lead strategy, commercial performance, product execution, and partner relationships, ensuring successful adoption, scale, and impact of voucher initiatives.
Responsibilities
Voucher Strategy & Growth
- Own and lead end-to-end voucher strategy, focusing on closed-loop programmes
- Define target segments, use cases, and value propositions across Flash’s ecosystem
- Identify new voucher opportunities aligned to customer needs and commercial return
- Drive adoption, scale, and performance across all distribution channels
Commercial Ownership
- Own the commercial performance of the voucher portfolio, including revenue growth, margin performance, and portfolio optimisation
- Define and evolve pricing, commercial structures, and partner value propositions
- Ensure voucher programmes are effectively commercialised, not just launched
Product & Operational Delivery
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Operations to deliver initiatives from concept to scale
- Execute roadmaps, go-to-market plans, and change initiatives
Third-Party Voucher Ecosystem
- Lead strategy for third-party voucher selection, distribution, and optimisation
- Strengthen partner performance through better positioning, distribution, and commercial models
- Maximise value for both partners and the business
Partner & Stakeholder Leadership
- Act as a senior representative in key partner engagements and negotiations
- Build strong relationships with banks, fintechs, retailers, wholesalers, and digital partners
- Influence internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and outcomes
Team Leadership & Culture
- Lead and develop a small, high-impact team
- Foster a culture of accountability, pace, and delivery
- Balance innovation with disciplined execution
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (advantageous)
- 5–8 years’ experience in fintech, payments, digital commerce, or financial services
- Proven track record of owning product or commercial portfolios and turning strategy into delivered outcomes
- Experience scaling products through cross-functional leadership
Technical & Commercial Skills
- Strong understanding of voucher ecosystems, prepaid products, or digital value distribution
- Experience with closed-loop systems and controlled value environments
- Commercial acumen including pricing strategy, revenue modelling, and margin optimisation
- Familiarity with payment and transaction infrastructure (APIs, gateways, reconciliation flows)
- Understanding of fintech regulatory and risk environments (e.g., KYC/AML, fraud, transaction controls)
- Strong analytical capability using data to drive performance and decision-making
