Sanlam Vacancies – First Line Manager

Role Overview:

As a First Line Manager at SRA, you will play a crucial role in leading and developing a team within our Business Shared Services unit. Your leadership will drive the delivery of exceptional client service and support, ensuring that we meet our goals of excellence and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team within a call center environment, ensuring high levels of performance and client satisfaction.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including client service interactions, premium alterations, and adherence to service standards.
  • Client Service: Enhance client experience by addressing issues, managing conflicts, and providing innovative solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set objectives, monitor progress, and implement control measures to ensure targets are met.
  • Technology Utilization: Use technology, including computers, telephone systems, and software applications, to streamline operations and solve client problems.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Matric/Grade 12; relevant business degree/diploma or industry-related qualification.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the insurance or call center industry, particularly in a life assurance environment.
  • Financial Services: Experience in financial services and administering premium alterations.
  • Management Experience: Previous experience in managing personnel within a call center environment is advantageous.
