Role Overview:
As a Financial Advisor, you will promote and sell Sanlam Retail Mass products and services. Your role involves using effective presentation and display techniques to drive sales and achieve pre-set targets. Staying informed about competitor activities and customer needs is crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell Sanlam Retail Mass products and services.
- Utilize presentation and display techniques to enhance sales.
- Monitor competitor actions and customer status to stay ahead in the market.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Provide financial advice and develop financial plans aligned with the customer value proposition and fair treatment standards.
- Work within allocated key accounts and markets.
- Offer excellent customer service to Sanlam clients.
- Arrange and conduct appointments with potential customers.
- Update clients on new products and services.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Sanlam products and stay updated on product and regulatory changes.
- Ensure Continuous Professional Development (CPD) credits and qualifications are current.
- Participate in relevant knowledge-sharing and training opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Grade 12/Matric.
- FAIS compliant with ‘fit and proper’ requirements.
- Proficiency in English and any other official South African language.
- Tech-savvy with active social media presence (preferred).
- Post-matric qualification or RE5 is advantageous.
- Previous experience in sales or client services preferred.
- Experience with a competitor company is an advantage.
