Role Overview:

As a Financial Advisor, you will promote and sell Sanlam Retail Mass products and services. Your role involves using effective presentation and display techniques to drive sales and achieve pre-set targets. Staying informed about competitor activities and customer needs is crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell Sanlam Retail Mass products and services.
  • Utilize presentation and display techniques to enhance sales.
  • Monitor competitor actions and customer status to stay ahead in the market.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
  • Provide financial advice and develop financial plans aligned with the customer value proposition and fair treatment standards.
  • Work within allocated key accounts and markets.
  • Offer excellent customer service to Sanlam clients.
  • Arrange and conduct appointments with potential customers.
  • Update clients on new products and services.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Sanlam products and stay updated on product and regulatory changes.
  • Ensure Continuous Professional Development (CPD) credits and qualifications are current.
  • Participate in relevant knowledge-sharing and training opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Grade 12/Matric.
  • FAIS compliant with ‘fit and proper’ requirements.
  • Proficiency in English and any other official South African language.
  • Tech-savvy with active social media presence (preferred).
  • Post-matric qualification or RE5 is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in sales or client services preferred.
  • Experience with a competitor company is an advantage.
