What Will You Do?

As a Financial Adviser based in Nelspruit/Mbombela, you will:

  • Provide new and existing clients with professional, tailored short-term insurance advice and solutions.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of clients to achieve long-term retention and loyalty.
  • Generate sustainable, high-quality business that meets and exceeds sales targets.
  • Operate in a compliant, ethical, and customer-centric manner, promoting the Sanlam and Santam brands.
  • Earn recurring commission by maintaining and growing your client base.

Key Responsibilities

  1. New Business Development
    • Prospect new clients through innovative approaches such as social/business networks and referrals.
    • Strengthen and grow existing client relationships by identifying additional service opportunities.
    • Conduct focused marketing campaigns within the middle-high and affluent markets.
  2. Client Consultations and Sales
    • Perform detailed fact-finding and financial needs analysis for clients.
    • Present professional and tailored short-term insurance solutions.
    • Ensure all client interactions comply with regulatory and ethical standards.
    • Conduct annual reviews and update client portfolios.
  3. Client Service and Retention
    • Provide exceptional, value-added service to maintain client satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Manage client claims efficiently from registration to settlement.
    • Stay updated with market trends and continuously enhance your knowledge and skills.
  4. Monitoring and Reporting
    • Track activities such as client appointments, consultations, and revenue generation.
    • Maintain accurate client records and provide timely reporting on targets and outcomes.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric/Grade 12.
  • FAIS accreditation and RE5 qualification (for FSCA registration longer than 24 months).
  • At least 2 years of short-term insurance sales experience (personal and commercial lines).
  • Own transport and a valid driver’s license.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Expertise in short-term insurance products and risk management principles.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in compliance processes and client relationship management.
  • Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
