Position Overview
Stonebridge HR Solutions is seeking a dynamic and visionary CEO to lead the company into its next phase of growth, operational excellence, and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will drive strategic direction, profitability, team leadership, and modernization efforts while reporting to the board and investors. This hands-on role requires a commercially astute, systems-focused leader who excels in high-growth environments.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of executive leadership experience in high-growth businesses (B2B2C, fintech, or telco experience is highly advantageous).
  • Proven track record in leading small to medium-sized businesses.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong commercial background and P&L responsibility.
  • Demonstrated success in operational scale-up, particularly in technology-driven settings.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive cultural transformation.
  • Experience managing cash flow and cost discipline in resource-constrained environments.
  • Prior engagement with founders, boards, or private equity/venture capital investors.
  • Background in leading field or distributed sales teams.
  • Familiarity with payroll-integrated business models or financial inclusion initiatives.
  • Exposure to low-income or mid-market customer segments.
  • Experience in scaling digital platforms (technical background not required).
  • High emotional intelligence, stakeholder engagement expertise, and resilience.
  • Professional presence and comfort leading digital transformation efforts.

Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute a 3–5 year vision to transition Stonebridge into a digital-first, scalable fintech platform.
  • Prioritize strategic initiatives, including digitization of onboarding, margin expansion, and new product launches.
  • Provide regular updates to the board on strategy, risk mitigation, and performance metrics.

Operational Execution & Cost Discipline

  • Oversee all core operations, including sales, payroll integration, customer support, and partnerships.
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies to optimize cash flow and customer acquisition.
  • Own key financial metrics, including unit economics, gross margin, and customer lifetime value.

Technology & Systems Modernization

  • Drive the deployment of scalable digital infrastructure, including self-service portals, CRM systems, and automation tools.
  • Develop internal tech capabilities or manage external development partnerships to support growth.

People & Culture

  • Foster a results-driven, high-performance culture across teams.
  • Strengthen leadership through strategic hiring, upskilling, and accountability frameworks.
  • Lead with transparency, energy, and integrity.

Growth & Product Expansion

  • Expand the product suite to include digital services such as insurance, savings, airtime, and credit offerings.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with telcos, insurers, and payroll platforms.
  • Explore new regional expansion opportunities aligned with the company’s employer-focused model.
