We are seeking a detail-oriented Claims Administrator to join a leading fleet company in Sandton. The successful candidate will manage the administrative aspects of insurance claims for damaged or lost trucks.
Key Responsibilities
Claim Processing: Receive, review, and process insurance claims for truck damage, theft, or other incidents.
Communication: Liaise with customers, insurance companies, and stakeholders to gather information, provide updates, and resolve claims.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all claims, including documentation, correspondence, and financial details.
Damage Assessment: Collaborate with workshops or experts to assess damage extent and costs.
Cost Management: Monitor claim-related expenses, ensuring accurate billing and cost recovery.
Policy Compliance: Ensure all claims comply with company insurance policies and procedures.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2-3 years in insurance claims administration (fleet/logistics experience advantageous).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; fleet management software experience is an advantage.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and find solutions.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in processing and record-keeping.
