Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct intelligence-based cyber and information security penetration testing assessments (simulated cyber-attacks) for financial institutions, including banks, insurance companies, and market infrastructures.
- Design project methodologies for engaging external consultants to perform cyber-attack simulations on financial sector entities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain TIBER frameworks, methodologies, standards, and guidelines to evaluate sector resilience.
- Collect and analyze threat intelligence from multiple sources, prioritize cyber risks, and report on the threat landscape and mitigation status.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to advance cyber resilience goals and foster strong industry relationships.
- Monitor emerging trends and regulatory changes in information security risk management and assess their impact on the industry.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree (NQF 8) in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field.
- Security certifications such as CEH, CISM, or CISSP are highly advantageous.
- 5–8 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 4 years focused on Cyber and Information Security.
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services sector is preferred.
