The role of a Store Manager is to oversee all store operations, ensuring efficient functionality across all departments while maintaining brand standards and reputation. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a commitment to driving sales and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all store departments and daily operations.
- Manage shrinkage levels within company targets.
- Implement policies and procedures to minimize stock loss.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue.
- Recruit, train, and manage store employees.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for procurement.
- Plan budgets and financial strategies for store profitability.
- Analyze sales reports and customer feedback for continuous improvement.
- Develop initiatives to increase store foot traffic.
- Maintain store inventory and ensure high product standards.
- Monitor market trends and competitor strategies.
- Set and review sales targets for the team.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or diploma in management preferred.
- 3–5 years of retail, merchandising, or sales experience.
- 10+ years in a senior management role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead a team and foster motivation.
- Experience in staff management, including scheduling, attendance, and industrial relations.
