Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Trade Officer to join Standard Chartered’s Trade Operations team. You will play a crucial role in executing international trade transactions, ensuring compliance, and optimizing trade workflows. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient handling of trade finance operations, supporting global business growth while mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality trade services with precision, meeting client expectations and adhering to compliance standards.
- Process and approve transactions in line with internal guidelines, client instructions, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strict adherence to approved limits and risk management protocols.
- Prioritize workflow efficiently, aligning with business priorities and client needs.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in trade finance operations within banking or financial services.
- Expertise in documentary credit (Letters of Credit) and trade finance instruments (guarantees, collections).
- Professional certification (e.g., CDCS, CSDG, CTF) is preferred.
- Strong grasp of AML, sanctions, and trade compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with trade finance platforms and digital solutions.
