HR, Payroll & Administration Officer – Pro Personnel

Minimum Requirements

  • Certificate in Human Resources, Payroll, or Office Administration.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, payroll, and compliance administration.
  • Knowledge of BCEA, LRA, OHSA, BBBEE & EE compliance.
  • Payroll processing experience essential.
  • Exposure to ISO9001/2015 and safety file management advantageous.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Statutory

  • Process weekly/monthly payroll accurately.
  • Manage PAYE, UIF, Provident Fund contributions, EMP201/501 submissions.
  • Maintain leave, overtime, and employee benefit records.
  • Handle DoL audits and insurance claims.

HR & IR Administration

  • Maintain employee files and validity of licenses, PDPs, medicals, and training.
  • Track training, inductions, and compliance renewals.
  • Liaise with labour consultants on disciplinary matters.
  • Assist with recruitment, contracts, warnings, and terminations.

Compliance & Safety

  • Maintain project/client safety files and fleet compliance records.
  • Support ISO9001/2015 updates and audits as ISO Coordinator.
  • Assist SHEQ in implementing best practices.

Office Administration

  • Oversee office supplies, stock control, and general admin.
  • Draft business correspondence, reports, and tender documentation.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and driver logistics.
  • Manage insurance documentation for accidents/incidents.

Procurement & Operations Support

  • Manage PPE, tools, and consumables.
  • Process supplier invoices and verify deliveries.
  • Support driver scheduling, shift rosters, and timesheet verification.
  • Serve as admin link between workshop, operations, and management.
