Pick n Pay is looking for a dynamic Specialist Learning & Development to drive training initiatives within the Clothing Division. This role focuses on designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance within the fashion and apparel industry. Working closely with teams across design, production, sales, and merchandising, the role ensures training aligns with strategic goals while fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.

Minimum Requirements
5-7 years of experience in HR and training development
Relevant degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous)
Experience in clothing retail and leading learning and development initiatives at various organizational levels
Proven track record of leading teams and facilitating training
Experience in eLearning design and technical development is beneficial
Knowledge of web-based training implementation and troubleshooting is an advantage

Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Learning and Development strategy for the Clothing Division, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends
Collaborate with Clothing Operations to assess and address training needs, ensuring training programs effectively support business operations
Conduct training needs analyses to identify skills gaps and implement targeted development plans
Align workplace skills plans with business strategies, BBBEE scorecards, statutory requirements, and individual development objectives
Manage the submission of Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Develop, revise, and enhance training content to meet evolving business and industry demands
Facilitate training sessions on leadership development, soft skills, and other critical areas tailored to business needs
Deliver impactful learning interventions and programs that support strategic business objectives
Ensure the effective implementation of policies and procedures related to training interventions
Design and deliver training programs based on adult learning principles to maximize engagement and effectiveness
Use adaptable facilitation techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure knowledge retention
Gather feedback, evaluate training effectiveness, and provide insights on training impact, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business goals
