Key Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
- Relevant experience in the packaging industry preferred.
- Apply policies and guidelines issued by the Executive Committee.
- Define business objectives through budget and strategic planning.
- Monitor company performance and ensure achievement of objectives.
- Report on financial results.
- Ensure proper organizational structures, resources, plans, procedures, and controls are in place to meet goals.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, safety, health, and environmental requirements.
- Recruit, motivate, and train competent personnel to achieve company objectives.
- Maintain harmonious human and industrial relations within the company.
- Work with the Sales Team to develop marketing and sales strategies, providing detailed market analysis.
- Optimize working capital utilization.
- Generate cash flow in line with agreed targets and budgets.
- Lead strategic planning and new business development initiatives.
- Manage the organization within approved Annual Operating Budgets.
- Drive sales growth through existing and new customers while achieving all budgets.
- Negotiate with suppliers and agencies.
- Ensure shareholder profits meet agreed targets.
- Make company decisions within established guidelines and authority limits.
- Submit Annual Operating and Investment Expenditure Budgets for approval.
- Appoint and delegate responsibilities to subordinates, maintaining overall accountability.
- Finalize pricing strategy and delegate pricing authority where necessary.
- Lead negotiations with major suppliers and approve supplier agreements.
- Review purchasing specifications and select suppliers based on criteria.
- Submit salary adjustments for Group CEO approval.
Salary & Benefits:
- R35,000 – R40,000 per month CTC (Negotiable)
