Outbound Sales Consultant (Short-term Insurance)
InspHired Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Outbound Sales Consultant (Short-term Insurance) to join our client’s team in Bellville, Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
- Sell short-term insurance products (car and household) telephonically.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Adhere to compliance and quality processes to minimize business risks.
- Maintain operational efficiency based on productivity benchmarks.
- Adapt to changing business requirements and processes.
- Handle customer complaints and objections professionally.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product changes, and regulatory updates.
- Commit to FAIS Fit & Proper qualification requirements.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Minimum 1.5 years’ experience in an Outbound Sales Call Centre OR 2 years’ face-to-face sales experience (with sales targets).
- Financial services experience (advantageous).
- RE Exam (advantageous).
- 30 FAIS Credits (Short-term Insurance – advantageous).
- Strong understanding of financial services regulations and sales processes.
- Proven outbound sales experience.
- Fluent in English and one other South African official language.
- Clean criminal and credit record.
- Willingness to work overtime.
Remuneration:
- Basic salary up to R13,500 per month plus commission.
