Requirements:
- Must be Trade Tested as a Weaving Mechanician with experience on Airjet looms.
- In-depth knowledge of weaving principles and familiarity with current fabric requirements.
- Supervisory experience is advantageous (preferably 5+ years in a leadership role).
- Experience in setting up, maintaining, and running Cotton and Poly/Cotton production on Airjet and Rapier looms.
- Setting up and knotting of new warps will be an advantage.
- Drawing up new Quality’s for weaving machines will be an advantage.
- Must be able to investigate, report, and resolve machine breakdowns promptly.
- Strong ability to plan, monitor, and improve production outputs.
- Dedicated to quality improvement & production efficiency.
- Strong communication skills at all business levels.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment to meet quality and production targets.
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate staff as a team.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management System is preferred.
- Must ensure staff adherence to SOPs, departmental procedures, and legislation.
- Monitor compliance with safety, health, and environmental workplace requirements.
