Job Summary
Network Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join a dynamic finance team. This role requires full responsibility for financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial management in alignment with IFRS. The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA(SA) with extensive post-articles experience in financial services or insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Full ownership of financial reporting and IFRS compliance.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Deliver high-quality financial insights and performance analysis to executives.
- Oversee regulatory submissions, audits, and risk management.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial strategy with business growth.
Requirements:
- CA(SA) qualification – non-negotiable.
- 5+ years post-articles experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Deep expertise in IFRS, audit, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and leadership ability.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling proficiency.
- Strategic thinker with executive-level influence.
