Vehicle Sales Executive

The Talent Room is seeking a driven and customer-focused Vehicle Sales Executive to join our team. You will be responsible for selling new and pre-owned vehicles by understanding customer needs, delivering exceptional service, and recommending the best vehicle options. Your goal is to drive revenue growth, build lasting client relationships, and uphold our brand reputation through professionalism and outstanding performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with walk-in and online customers to assess their vehicle requirements.
  • Promote and sell new and used vehicles while providing expert advice.
  • Conduct test drives and showcase vehicle features and benefits.
  • Negotiate pricing, trade-ins, and financing options in line with company policies.
  • Finalize sales and ensure accurate completion of all documentation.
  • Follow up with clients post-sale to maintain satisfaction and build loyalty.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and performance KPIs.
  • Maintain detailed product knowledge of all models and competitor offerings.
  • Update CRM systems with customer interactions and sales progress.
  • Liaise with finance and insurance teams to ensure seamless transactions.
  • Represent the company at showroom events, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, vehicle technologies, and competitor activity.

  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities.

  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic financial literacy (e.g., loan calculations, trade-ins).
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license (Code B or equivalent).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Matric / Grade 12 (minimum requirement).
  • 3-5 years of automotive sales experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Understanding of vehicle financing and trade-in processes.
  • Sales or marketing training is a plus.
