Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Lead a store team to achieve business KPIs, including driving sales, controlling costs, mitigating risks and stock loss, managing administration, and ensuring world-class store standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Increase sales by delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining store image, managing stock, and executing promotional strategies.
- Minimize stock loss by fostering a secure store culture and adhering to cash and stock handling procedures.
- Control costs by optimizing operational efficiencies in alignment with the company’s low-cost culture.
- Ensure all administrative duties comply with company guidelines.
- Lead, train, coach, and manage the performance of a dynamic store team.
- Maintain health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the store.
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Proficient in English.
- Relevant tertiary degree/diploma in a business or retail-related field (advantageous).
- 1-2 years of retail leadership experience (preferred).
- Computer literacy (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite is advantageous).
