Job Overview
The Senior Automation QA is responsible for driving quality excellence through the design, development, and execution of advanced testing strategies. This role focuses on automated and manual testing, continuous improvement, and ensuring high-quality delivery across the Agile product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop comprehensive manual and automated test cases aligned with industry best practices

Build, maintain, and enhance scalable and robust test automation frameworks

Perform detailed defect analysis, root cause investigation, and ensure timely resolution

Track, manage, and validate defects through to successful closure
-
Provide expert input and recommendations to improve quality assurance processes
-
Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA function
-
Research, evaluate, and implement new testing tools and technologies
-
Apply quality engineering principles consistently throughout the Agile development lifecycle
-
Execute and analyse test results to ensure all quality standards are met
-
Deliver clear and engaging testing demos and insights to stakeholders
Minimum Requirements
-
Relevant IT tertiary qualification

ISEB/ISTQB Foundation certification
-
ISEB/ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst certification
-
ISEB/ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer certification
-
5–8 years’ experience in software testing
-
3–5 years’ hands-on automation testing experience
-
Experience in QA methodologies and project environments
Technical Skills

Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, or Python
-
Strong experience with multiple test automation frameworks, tools, and processes

Extensive automation experience using Rest Assured for REST API testing
-
Experience with Microsoft Azure, DevOps environments, and CI/CD pipelines
-
Proven ability to design and implement scalable automation testing solutions
