Sales Representative – Value Logistics
Purpose of the Role
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by managing and expanding a diverse customer portfolio that includes retail, commercial, and industrial clients. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing customer relationships, achieving revenue targets, and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs across multiple market segments.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development

Identify, pursue, and secure new customer opportunities across targeted sectors

Maintain and grow existing customer accounts to drive repeat and long-term business

Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and performance KPIs

Present, promote, and sell company products and services to prospective and existing clients

Follow structured daily route plans to ensure effective customer coverage and timely visits
Customer Relationship Management

Build strong, professional relationships with customers through regular engagement

Understand customer requirements and provide effective solutions to address challenges

Monitor customer satisfaction and gather feedback to improve service delivery
Account Administration & Reporting

Manage customer credit accounts, payment terms, and payment follow-ups

Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market developments

Compile and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports

Maintain up-to-date customer records and sales documentation
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)

5 to 10 years of proven sales experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
