Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in roads, earthworks, crushing & screening, and demolition projects.
- Proficient in CCS (Candy) for cost estimation and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., GCC, FIDIC, JBCC).
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, submit, and manage tenders and Contract documentation.
- Conduct accurate quantity take-offs, measurements, and BOQs.
- Track and control project costs to ensure budget compliance.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes, claims, and variations.
- Monitor progress claims, final accounts, and cost reporting.
- Collaborate with site teams to track productivity, costs, and timelines.
- Oversee and delegate responsibilities to team members.
- Assist in contract negotiations and dispute resolution.
- Generate cost/value reconciliation reports using CCS (Candy).
- Implement procedures for quantifying and costing.
- Understand requirements for obtaining and providing insurance/guarantees.
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
- Apply prior experience working with civil engineering contractors.
- Utilise strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Thrive in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines.
- Exhibit excellent management and communication abilities.
