Our client, a well-established dealership in Johannesburg North, is seeking a Qualified Master Technician to join their dynamic service team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional passionate about precision diagnostics, complex repairs, and mentoring junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics and complex vehicle repairs
- Mentor and guide junior technicians for optimal performance
- Ensure all repairs adhere to manufacturer specifications
- Conduct quality checks and road tests for service excellence
- Stay updated with technical bulletins and training advancements
- Maintain accurate service records and warranty compliance
- Provide technical support to service advisors and workshop managers
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) – Essential
- Recognized Automotive Technical Qualification (Trade Tested Motor Mechanic) – Essential
- Certified Ford Master Technician – Essential
- 5+ years’ experience as a qualified technician with Master Technician status
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Proven experience with dealership diagnostic systems and tools
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturer repair standards
- Clean criminal record
