Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Planner to partner with Buying and Planning teams to drive commercial performance using advanced merchandise systems. This role focuses on sales forecasting, financial planning, and strategic product management to optimise trading performance. The Planner plays a critical role in managing product from inception to delivery, ensuring profitable outcomes and efficient store servicing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including distribution and store design to deliver seamless execution across the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner closely with Merchandise Buyers and suppliers to optimise range performance
• Utilise internationally recognised merchandise systems alongside bespoke in-house tools
• Drive accurate sales forecasting, budgeting, and trading strategies
• Ensure the right merchandise reaches the right stores at the right price and time
• Monitor performance and take decisive trading action to maximise profitability
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support effective product execution from concept to store
Qualifications and Experience
• 3+ years’ experience in a planning role, preferably within a fashion retail environment
• Relevant numerical tertiary qualification
• Experience with merchandise systems such as Oracle, ProClarity, and PLM is advantageous
