About the Role
The Pharmacist Assistant QPB is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services within scope of practice and managing day-to-day dispensary administration in line with company Standard Operating Procedures. The role focuses on accurate script administration and general dispensing support with a strong emphasis on patient satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Objectives:
- Engage with customers professionally and maintain strict confidentiality in line with SOPs and agreed service timelines.
- Administer scripts and manage all related claiming and capturing processes accurately.
- Ensure complete and accurate handling of all patient profiles.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals when required to support patient care.
- Resolve queries through effective problem-solving and timely follow-ups.
Core Duties:
- Communicate with customers via telephone and other channels regarding medication and healthcare services.
- Accurately capture prescriptions received at the Central Pharmacy Centre.
- Manage and resolve prescription-related queries.
- Maintain and update patient profiles.
- Support chronic authorisation processes.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Perform ad hoc duties in line with operational requirements.

- Comprehensive product knowledge, including OTC medicines
- SAPC regulations and relevant legal requirements
