About the Role
HR Genie is seeking a skilled Paraplanner to join our client’s team in the financial sector. In this role, you will support financial advisers by analyzing client data, conducting research, and preparing reports to ensure the delivery of tailored financial advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Case Preparation: Gather and analyze clients’ financial information, including income, assets, liabilities, and investments, to prepare comprehensive files for adviser meetings.
  • Financial Research and Analysis: Investigate financial products, pensions, tax strategies, and market trends to provide accurate and compliant advice.
  • Report Writing: Draft detailed suitability reports, investment proposals, and financial plans customized to client needs.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Support: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and up-to-date legal requirements.
  • Administrative Assistance: Support advisers with meeting preparations, client record updates, and new business application processing.
  • Ongoing Client Service: Monitor portfolio performance, provide rebalancing recommendations, and address client inquiries.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with financial planners, compliance teams, and product providers to deliver seamless financial solutions.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on financial regulations, products, and industry best practices through professional development.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, accounting, or related field. Industry certifications (e.g., CFP®, Diploma in Financial Planning) are a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, financial planning software, and CRM systems. Strong knowledge of investments, pensions, insurance, and tax planning.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex financial data and derive actionable insights.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data analysis, reporting, and compliance documentation.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills to simplify financial concepts for clients and colleagues.
  • Organisational Ability: Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Experience working effectively across teams and building professional relationships.
