Job Description
Fidelity Vacancies is seeking a dedicated Investigator to report to the Investigations Manager within Governance, Risk, and Compliance. The Investigator will independently conduct investigations on site, ensuring thorough evidence collection and accurate reporting.
Minimum Requirements
• Formal qualification in a relevant field advantageous
• Previous investigation experience essential
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel as required
• Valid passport
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet research
• No criminal record or pending cases
• Strong command of the English language
• Understanding of the FSG environment advantageous
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct interviews with employees and relevant parties related to investigations
• Gather and secure evidence in a legal and compliant manner
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including SAPS, FSG Legal, claims departments, and polygraph personnel
• Prepare investigation reports that are accurate, well-supported, and timely
• File and archive investigation documentation efficiently
• Ensure investigations are completed within deadlines while maintaining integrity and confidentiality
• Maintain updated and organized records, making information readily available
• Work overtime as required to meet investigation timelines
