SAB Vacancies – Intercompany Analyst
SAB is seeking a dynamic Intercompany Analyst to join our Business Service Centre. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on end-to-end intercompany processes across the Africa Zone and on a global scale. Key Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end intercompany activities, including chargebacks, billings, payments, netting, cash applications, and adjustments.
- Prepare and reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions across systems such as SAP, Oracle FCCS, and Cognos.
- Conduct monthly closings and support internal and external reporting for balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in intercompany processes, including aged items, reconciling items, and mismatches.
- Adhere to internal control protocols and assist with internal and external audits, maintaining compliance with MICS and SOX controls.
- Support intercompany-related customer inquiries and provide high-level customer service.
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, presenting key insights and troubleshooting issues to the Team Lead.
- Contribute to process improvements and identify automation opportunities to increase efficiency.
- Maintain training documentation and assist with knowledge transfer for new team members.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; post-graduate qualification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting, with a focus on intercompany transactions.
- Proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Oracle FCCS, Cognos) and strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Procurement to Pay processes, and query resolution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical approach, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and integrity.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with a good understanding of Agile Methodology and Ways of Working.
