Sab Vacancies – INTERCOMPANY ANALYST

About the Role

The Intercompany Analyst is responsible for managing end-to-end intercompany processes across the Africa Zone and Global operations. This role ensures accurate financial transaction processing, reporting, and governance of balance sheet, income statement, and working capital items while supporting operational excellence and customer service objectives within AB InBev.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute intercompany chargebacks, billings, payments, netting, cash application, accrual entries, adjustments, and correction entries.
  • Perform intercompany account reconciliations, account analysis, and provide detailed transaction explanations to non-finance teams.
  • Prepare and upload intercompany journals, including accruals, recharges, and invoices.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciling items to clear mismatches and aged balances.
  • Review intercompany charges for completeness and integrity.
  • Support the team in achieving weekly and monthly targets, SLA’s, and KPI’s.
  • Participate in monthly closing for entities, including balance sheet, income statement, and other financial reporting.
  • Provide customer support and respond to accounting-related inquiries for intercompany processes.
  • Adhere to internal control protocols and provide documentation for internal and external audits, including MICS and SOX compliance.
  • Identify automation opportunities and collaborate with technology teams to optimize processes.
  • Maintain role training documentation and assist with knowledge transfer to new employees.
  • Perform ad hoc requests and projects as required.

  • Flexible and adaptable to change, with familiarity in Agile methodology and ways of working.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or related field; post-graduate qualification advantageous.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in financial accounting, preferably with intercompany processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI, SAP, FCCS, and COGNOS.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and Procure-to-Pay processes.
  • Expert technical accounting knowledge with strong self-management skills.
