Job Description
Fidelity Vacancies is seeking a motivated HR Intern to provide administrative support and assist with the daily operations of the HR department. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in human resources and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
• Update internal HR databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
• Prepare HR-related reports as required
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation processes
• Support the planning and coordination of company events, careers days, and HR initiatives
• Maintain organized filing systems and ensure HR data is accurate and up to date
• Assist with annual BBB-EE audit processes
• Support the implementation of Organizational Development and Employee Wellness programs
• Respond to HR-related queries and direct employees to the appropriate team member
• Collaborate with the HR Manager and Transformation Executive on ad hoc projects
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• N6 / Diploma / Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field
• Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Understanding of labor legislation including BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, and BBB-EE
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Team player with the ability to drive individual assignments
