Job Purpose:
To provide expert financial and wealth creation advice to Nedbank clients, ensuring Nedbank remains the premier banking destination.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze clients’ financial statuses to assess expenses, income, insurance coverage, objectives, tax status, and risk tolerance for tailored financial planning.
  • Recommend financial solutions and strategies aligned with clients’ long-term goals.
  • Guide clients in implementing financial plans and executing transactions.
  • Conduct regular reviews of client portfolios to adjust plans based on life changes or economic shifts.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, financial products, and best practices.
  • Develop, present, and refine financial plans for individuals and legal entities.
  • Maintain expertise in approved products and services, continuously improving industry knowledge.
  • Ensure full compliance with financial industry and bank regulations.
  • Build and sustain a profitable financial planning practice.
  • Engage in networking and business events to strengthen client relationships.

Essential Qualifications:

  • FSCA-accredited NQF 5 or higher qualification.
  • Regulatory Exam for Representatives (RE 5).

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or working toward CFP accreditation.

Minimum Experience Level:

  • 1–5 years in Financial Planning, Financial Advice, or Sales within Financial Services.

Technical / Professional Knowledge:

  • Financial planning tools and systems
  • Data analysis
  • Banking procedures and regulations
  • Industry governance and risk controls
  • Business principles and financial terminology

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Strong sales orientation
  • Relationship-building skills
