Role Description
We are seeking a passionate Finance Operations Manager who understands the transformative power of refined operational systems for business scalability. Key Responsibilities
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Task delegation and oversight of Operations team deliverables
- Performance management and professional development of team members
- Leading change management initiatives
- Developing training materials and conducting sessions
- Managing key stakeholder relationships internally and externally
Client Payments
- Oversee premium allocations across payment channels (bank deposits, debit orders, pay@)
- Optimize debit order management processes
- Monitor and implement payment process improvements
- Ensure adherence to payment allocation SLAs
- Manage automated client messaging throughout the payment journey
- Conduct QA checks to guarantee accurate premium allocations
Claims Management
- Lead monthly claims audits
- Handle financial administration related to claims processing
Finance & Reporting
- Prepare monthly insurance bordereau reports
- Own end-to-end payments processes
- Oversee bookkeeping and financial administration
- Develop budgets and long-term financial projections
- Monitor expenditures against budgets
- Manage procurement processes
- Collaborate with external accountants for monthly financial reporting
- Support annual financial audits
Policy Management
- Manage underwriter relationships, including policy wording and business impacts
- Ensure compliance with intermediary agreements and policy administration
Special Projects
- Lead initiatives such as premium increases and new value proposition launches
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Deliver comprehensive monthly management reports to executives
- Partner with the data analyst and COO to define, track, and optimize KPIs
