Job Description
The Field Quality Auditor (Durban) will be responsible for ensuring product quality across suppliers and processing facilities, maintaining Truworths’ quality standards, and driving continuous improvement through effective auditing and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality audits of goods at suppliers and processing houses
• Liaise with suppliers and Garment Technologists to resolve quality issues
• Complete AQL reports in line with Truworths standards
• Monitor recurring quality concerns and mentor suppliers for improvement
• Capture and maintain accurate audit data
• Plan and manage workloads, schedules, and appointments efficiently

Qualifications and Experience

• Clothing manufacturing experience within a factory environment
• 3–5 years’ proven experience in quality auditing
• Valid Code 8 driver’s license

Competencies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Clear reporting of quality issues using written reports and photographic evidence
• Confident in handling conflict and resolving issues constructively
• High attention to detail with strong energy and drive
• Sound knowledge of AQL standards
• IT competence with basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Service-oriented and results-driven mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Confident in providing constructive feedback
